Fan External Static Pressure

If you are doing a Manual D, whether through Tabular Manual D or through MD Ductsize, you will want to make sure you have the right external static pressure. It’s really simple in both programs.

In RHVAC’s Manual D Ductsize function, simply click on the red blower in the Tabular grid. Here you can add devices for additional static pressure losses.

The additional Static Pressure Loss for any device added to an individual section of duct can be added to the duct in the Properties section of the duct.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In MD Ductsize, click on the Supply Main Trunk.

In the Object Properties box, select the Fan button under the Special Tab.

Click on the three dots at the right of the Fan External Static Pressure field.

The Fan External Pressure Loss dialog box opens and you can enter the information,
